EMILIA (AMELIA NEWMAN) FOSTER Joseph & Jane’s daughter married Henry Foster. They lived in Windsor in 1884, and Detroit in 1907 and 1910.

The Church at the Bend of the River records - Henry Eugene Foster 23, of Port Stanley married Ameilia Newman, 18, of Port Stanley, daughter of J. Newman. The children known to date are Amelia Estella Foster, born May 20, 1884 in Windsor, Ontario. Baptized: January 16, 1885. Witnesses – Mrs. Newman, godmother & John Clark. (Church at the Bend of the River).

In the Church at the Bend of the River page 69 the following appears: Baptism Amelia Estella, a daughter of Henry Foster and Amelia Newman born 20 May 1884 at Windsor, baptized 16 January 1885 by Reverend H Banwell. Witnesses Mrs Newman, godmother, John Clark.
