On the anniversary of the 100th year of the declaration of World War 1, the Hamilton Ontario Lancaster is preparing for a flight to England to join up with the only other flying Lancaster on a tour in England.

I understand that there were engine problems with the Lancaster.
Did it finally get to go to England?

The Lancaster took off about 10AM the following day to the excitement of a crowd of well wishers.
Images are on the net showing it in flight with it's British counterpart.
