WILLIAM THEODORE MILLARD was born about 1860 in Bayham
Oxford Cty., Ontario Canada. He married ANNIE ELIZABETH DOWN who was born about
1869 in Southwold Twp., Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada. They were married the 07th
of December 1887 in St Thomas Elgin Cty., Ontario Canada.
William Theodore Millard and Annie Elizabeth
Down had a son named CHARLES EDWIN MILLARD who was born on the 14th
of July 1891 in Paynes Mills, Elgin Co., Ontario Canada and died on the 19th
of March 1953 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio USA.
Charles married Daphne Vida
Bernice Newman, daughter of John James Newman and Katherine Susanna Hannah
(Susan) Stephens about 1920 (as per birth of first child). She was born on 21
Feb 1890 in Port Stanley, Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada and died on the 03rd of May 1951 in
Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio USA.
Charles Edwin Millard and Daphne Vida Bernice Newman had
the following children:

Cuyahoga, Ohio USA. She died on 27 Jan 1984 in Parma, Cuyahoga Co., OH, USA. She

. SHIRLEY MILLARD was born in 1926 in Ohio United States.
She died in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA. She married JAKE LOEFFLER who was
born about 1925.
. HELEN I MILLARD was born in 1928 in Ohio USA and died
in 1977 in Ohio USA. She married JACK REED who was born about 1927 in USA.
. CECELIA C MILLARD was born on the 09th of Feb 1927 in Cleveland,
Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA. She died on the 19th of Sep 1997 in Middleburg Heights, Cuyahoga,
Ohio. She married WILLIAM HEINGARDNER who was born about 1925.
. WALTER WILLIAM MILLARD was born on the 12th of Jan 1932 in
Cleveland Ohio USA and died on the 20th of Apr 1991 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio USA. He
married MARGIE HOLBROOK who was born on 18th of Apr 1938 in Ohio United States.

Time: 7 p.m.
Location: St. Thomas Public Library.
Speakers: Sandra Joyce is the author of two books based on her British Home Child father, Robert Joyce, her uncle Thomas Joyce, and Aunt Emma Joyce, The Street Arab and Belonging, the sequel to The Street Arab. Karen Mahoney also speaks on the farmer's perspective as her husband's family had home children on their farm. All welcome. Free

Thursday, January 18, 1894.
Vienna — Mr. Jas. Chute of Boston, Mas. son of Mr. E. Chute, is visiting his parents, both are in poor health.
Mr. H. Nevilles is attending Normal school at Ottawa.
Mrs. Jeannie Carlisle, of Peterboro was the guest of Miss. E. Chute during the past week.
Miss Jessie Gunne, formerly a pupil of Hamilton Collegiate, is attending school here.
Miss Annie Edison, is attending the Toronto Normal School.
At the annual meeting of the Bayham Agriculture Society held here on Thursday January 11. The following officers were elected for the coming year: Pres. C.P.Chute; Vice Pres. J.T. Marr; Directors, H. Saxton, S.D. McCurdy, Thos. McGreer, K.Stilwell, Wm. Gordan, Louis Hankinson, E.S. McCollum, A. McConnell, and Mr. Harvey of Eden. Wm. Watts was reappointed Sec. and Treas. and E.H. Suffel and George Ault as auditors. Mr. Jack B. Martin who died at his home, about two miles west of this place, on Tuesday last, aged 86 years, was buried in St. Luke’s cemetery on Thursday.
Mr. William Broom, of Minneapolis is visiting friends here.
Mr. E.H. Suffel, not having the required property qualification declined to take the declaration of office as Reeve of the village. Nominations for Reeve will be held on Monday 22nd January.
